Slang. sweetheart, darling.

Origin:  1955.  Schatzi is from the German word “schatz” meaning “treasure”. It entered English as a term of endearment for a woman in the early 1900s.

It also appears as the name of an alternative rock group that formed in 1996 and lasted until 2004.
