Vietnam Veterans Day

On March 29, 2012 President Obama with a Presidential Proclamation designated March 29 as Vietnam Veterans Day.  The day is to honor everyone who fought in that war.  The Vietnam war started January 12, 1962 and ended March 29, 1973.

In addition the Vietnam War Commemoration will run through Veterans Day 2025.  The commemorative program is in accordance with Public Law 110-181 Sec 598 of the 2008 National Defense Authorization Act.  For more information:  http://www.vietnamwar50th.com/ and here is a short video from the VA Secretary: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suJ-_p98fKU)
