Related 4 thoughts on “Quote of the day-Mahatma Gandhi” Add yours Roseylinn, I was speaking with my sister about this quote. She brought it up and felt offended by it being a devout Christian. I shared that I think his meaning is we each could do better to represent the teachings of Jesus, in all religions. She agreed that there are many folks who lay claim to being a Christian, but don’t walk the talk. I said the same could be said for most any religion, I believe. So, I personally do not take offense at this comment from a wise man. Keith LikeLike Reply If we all knew better we would hopefully do better. I agree that there are a lot of people who claim to be Christian, and that they follow what Jesus preached and did in his life, yet come up short.
