Around every corner in a garden there is something hidden waiting to be discovered. There are several fruits and vegetables that are great at hiding; cucumbers, and strawberries. The master at hiding are round zucchinis:

Just below the leaves it sits nestled against a backdrop that keeps it hidden.

Each day I go out and hunt for the round zucchini; and then I turn them into delicious zucchini bread:

Love the photo of the zucchini, hiding, Rosey, it looks like a cross between a marrow and a watermelon! I’m guessing it’s not related to either though, if you can make a type of bread from it 🙂

I too thought of watermelon. I’ve never seen a round zucchini.

I first heard of it a few years ago when I got some as a gift. Since then it’s the only Zucchini I plant.
