Hooked On Technology

The other day in a fast food place I looked around and saw people on their phones. They were sitting with other people, yet their attention was glued to their phones. They looked up every now and then.

People have gotten hooked on electronics. We sit at the computer, or on our phones, all day long. Even when we are out at restaurants with friends and family we are stuck on our phones. We aren’t paying attention to the people around us. The people we are with. Because the people on the phones, and computers, are now more important.

We don’t do things away from electronic devices.

We should try to unplug at least once a week. Get out of the caves we have built for ourselves and have fun. Talk to family, read books, engage with something more than a computer screen.
